For over a decade, Preston McCollam has stood on the front lines of justice in Spokane County. As a seasoned Deputy Prosecuting Attorney since 2013, and now serving as your Spokane County Prosecutor, Preston has made it his mission to protect families, uphold the law, and ensure that the crime victims have meaningful access to justice.

Preston’s career has not been built on headlines, but on hard work: securing convictions against violent offenders, working hand-in-hand with regional law enforcement partners, and pushing back against the rising tide of crime with conviction and compassion. Preston’s tireless work in expanding meaningful relationships with local and federal law enforcement agencies has earned him the respect and endorsement of the everyday heroes in our community.

Preston knows that effective leadership is about more than courtroom appearances or personal achievements. It takes grit and strength of character in the middle of the storm. When others fled in the face of a challenge, Preston proved time and again that he will not run from adversity, instead, he tirelessly fights for what is right.
